What are Motor Skills?

‘Motor Skills’ simply refer to our ability to move our bodies with a competent degree of coordination and control. ‘Gross Motor Skills’ are those that involve larger movements (like running and throwing, for example), while ‘Fine Motor Skills’ target smaller, subtler manipulations (such as buttoning a shirt and hand-writing).
